I'm thankful that my children love the snow. It almost makes me happy that it's here....almost.

Thankful - Day 14

I'm thankful for my job and not just for the obvious reasons. Yes, I'm thankful because I have one and because they pay me money. But these aren't the only reasons. I actually really like what I do...most of the time. I get to write and edit for a living, which I think is pretty awesome.

When I majored in English and discovered that I didn't want to teach it I was caught in a sticky situation. What do you do with an English degree if you don't teach? Right. Well, there are lots of things and once I figured that out I was a lot happier.

Now I get to write and edit for a living, plus they let me work from home so that I can be with my kids. It's the best of both worlds.
